In 2016 my family and I went out west to Calgary to visit family there. Obviously from the lack of activity here we haven’t had a chance to travel since. This year though we are finally traveling again with a trip in the other direction to Newfoundland. We are going on a one week trip in June which I’m told is prime time for icebergs and puffins.
We will be flying into St. John’s , staying for a night there and then driving to visit with family new Bonaventure. Because we are visiting family and they will show us around there isn’t a lot of planning to be done.
Since our time in St. John’s will be very short we’ll chose the one of two things we really want to see. Right now I think a visit to signal hill is at the top of the list. I might also investigate if there is a wheelchair friendly whale watching option near my families place as I’d really like to get out on the water too.
I’m really looking forward to this trip and can’t wait to share my experiences with you.
